Air Conditioning
Most vehicles lose approximately 10% to 20% of gas each year through natural infiltration which may cause moisture within the system. In order to alleviate potential problems we, along with the Volkswagen Audi Group, recommend you have your air conditioning system serviced every two years.
Our staff have been trained in the new F Gas regulation which came in force in July 2010.
GUIDANCE ON TAKING CARE OF YOUR AIR CONDITIONING
HAVE YOUR AIR CONDITIONING SERVICED EVERY TWO YEARS
In the same way that the rest of your car needs servicing and inspecting so does your air conditioning. Oil can be lost if small leaks go undetected, and lack of lubrication and servicing can lead to expensive repairs. A clean and effective air-conditioning system also means no build up of bacteria. Our technicians have been trained in the new F-Gas regulations which came into force in July 2010.
RUN YOUR AIR CONDITIONING FOR 10 MINUTES A WEEK
This simple action can keep your components and rubber seals lubricated preventing them from drying out and cracking.
KEEP YOUR AIR CONDITIONING GAS TOPPED UP
Up to 20% of refrigerant gas can be lost through vibration.
COST OF USE
Modern cars are much more efficient at controlling their climate and studies have found that, compared to putting the windows down which creates a drag, using the air conditioning is actually fuel efficient.
