We offer competitive rates on our full and wide range of budget and branded replacement tyres, including an excellent selection of Audi tyres and Volkswagen tyres. Prices quoted for tyres include fitting, a new valve, balancing and tyre disposal so there are no hidden extra charges.

If your car is with us for a service, you will be provided with a tyre report which includes your tyre tread depth, tyre pressure (both in bar and psi), tyre size and the torque setting of your wheel bolts.

FROM 1 NOVEMBER 2012 ALL REPLACEMENT TYRES WILL BE LEGALLY REQUIRED TO HAVE A NEW LABEL IN PLACE WHICH DETAIL SAFETY INFORMATION

For more information see the Industry Guideline on Tyre Labelling (version 4)

The aim of the tyre labelling regulation is to improve the safety, the economic and environmental efficiency of road transport by promoting fuel-efficient and safe tyres with low noise levels.  This regulation allows consumers to make more informed choices when purchasing tyres.

The tyre labelling rules provide information relating to certain characteristics of tyre performances.  The information provided will be:-

- the impact on vehicle fuel efficiency associated to  the tyres rolling resistance

- the impact on vehicle safety associated to the tyres wet grip

- the tyres external noise level (expressed in decibels);  not any  tyre noise heard inside the vehicle

This information needs to be provided concerning passenger car tyres, light truck tyres and heavy duty vehicle tyres.

GUIDANCE ON CHECKING YOUR TYRES Maintaining the correct inflation level of all of your tyres is imperative. Tyres should be checked for wear and damage frequently. Look out for feathering, cracks and any bulges in your tyres. Monitor the tread depth – the minimum legal tread depth is 1.6mm. Why not try the 20 pence test to check your tyre tread depth. The edge of a 20 pence is the same depth as the minimum tyre tread depth so if you can see the edge then get your tyre checked. (To demonstrate this watch the Quentin Wilson video on www.tyresafe.org).

Remember, if your tyre is un-roadworthy you risk your own and others personal safety and you could incur a fine and penalty points on your licence or worse. Be tyre safe!
