Diagnostics & Air Conditioning
Diagnostics
Engine management lights can come on at any time and can be the result of a number of possible faults ranging from the most common to the more obscure associated with vehicles from the Volkswagen Audi Group.
Therefore, in order to provide the best possible service, we have invested heavily in diagnostic equipment and training thereby providing the mechanics with the expertise to find and correct the fault(s).
Once the vehicle has been scanned and the diagnostic code(s) recorded, a full VAG print out will be supplied detailing the fault (where possible). We charge a diagnostic fee for this service.
Any rectification work required will be quoted for and permission sought from our customer before any work is undertaken. A further fee will be charged for this.
Air Conditioning
Most vehicles lose approximately 10% to 20% of gas each year through natural infiltration which may cause moisture within the system. In order to alleviate potential problems we, along with the Volkswagen Audi Group, recommend you have your air conditioning system serviced every two years.
Our staff have been trained in the new F Gas regulation which came in force in July 2010.
